My name is James Coleman and I am a candidate for State Representative in Colorado House District 7. I am a longtime resident of northeast Denver, and my mission is to build on its greatness and confront its challenges as your Representative in the Colorado Legislature.
“I understand the challenges facing our community. We need a strong voice at the State Capitol to address them, and I’m ready to work and serve for the good of our families and children.”
I am running for State Representative for House District 7 because there is a lot of work to be done—ensuring excellent schools, providing access to job opportunities, and improving public safety. These are priority issues in our local neighborhoods and across Colorado. Many members of our community have urged me to run for this seat, encouraging me to be a voice for progress at the State Capitol. I appreciate the collective vote of confidence, and I know I will serve well in this role. After much thought and consideration, and in response to so much support from community members and civic leaders, I am humbled yet honored to rise to the challenge. Our community needs a strong, passionate, energetic leader to bring our entire district together to solve problems, celebrate success, and protect the things that make our district special and unique.
I am working hard to get out and introduce myself across the district. More importantly, I’m knocking on doors, making calls, speaking to small groups and taking a lot of notes on what my neighbors and community members need, want, and deserve.
